Description

The Raptor software-defined radio (SDR) Development Kit combines state-of-the-art capabilities with a flexible design, resulting in a compact, efficient solution for multiple mission requirements.

We designed Raptor with a rich feature set to support many SDR development and demonstration efforts:

  • MIMO-capable RF transceiver, 70 MHz to 6 GHz
  • 4-band preselector on both receive channels
  • Configurable transmit path supports 70 MHz to 6 GHz and includes 2.4 GHz 500 mW PA
  • Expansion header supports additional high-speed I/O
  • Rugged mechanical design with integrated RF shield
  • Accurate and precise time-tagging with external 1 PPS, NMEA-0183, NTP, and 10 MHz frequency reference.

The Raptor SDR Development Kit includes what’s needed to get started, right out of the box. The following components are included:

  • Heatsink with integrated fan (installed)
  • 8 GB microSD flash memory card with full-size SD adapter
  • 12V universal power supply
  • USB 3.0 SuperSpeed device cable (A to Micro-B)
  • USB 2.0 device cable (A to Micro-B)
  • JTAG adapter cable for Xilinx USB 2.0
  • Quick Start Guide

The Raptor I/O Expansion Mezzanine is available to add high speed Ethernet, SSDs, displays, and more to your project. The expansion mezzanine includes:

  • Dual SFP+ *
  • M.2 SATA interface *
  • Mini DisplayPort interface *
  • 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet *
  • Dual-lane Samtec Firefly connector to GTH interfaces *
  • IRIG B timecode input
